Freshmen players to get valuable experience

With Coach Trevor Powers taking over, the freshman team has gained enough players and looks to build the foundation for future teams as it plays at its own level this year.

For Powers, he said among the players they have currently, there are good things he has noticed.

“We’ve got about 14 freshmen right now,” he said. “I’d like to get that number up to about 18 or 19. So, we’ll have enough to have s…
