Nena Rose Allen, 70, of Clinton, Oklahoma, passed away September 10, 2026, in Clinton. She was born April 2, 1956, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, the daughter of Laverne and the late Troy Maxwell.
Nena graduated from Clinton High School in 1974. She married Alton Allen of the Anadarko area, and together they raised their son, Michael. Nena was happiest surround-ed by her family and friends, and the care she poured into the people she loved was evident to anyone who knew her.
She is survived by her mother, Laverne Maxwell of Clinton; her son, Michael Allen, and Lianna; her granddaughter, Winter Allen; her sister, Eva Devonne Driscoll, and husband Rick of Stark City, Missouri; her brother, Kurt Maxwell of Clinton; her nephews and niece; and several greatnephews and greatnieces.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alton Allen; her father, Troy Maxwell; and her brother, Troy “Butch” Maxwell.
A memorial service was held Monday, September 14, 2026, at Lee’s Hometown Funeral Home in Clinton.
