HOBART – Summer exhibition play couldn’t have gotten off to a better start for the Clinton fastpitch softball team (2-0 overall), winning via shutout in its first two games of the Hobart League Monday afternoon.
The Lady Reds beat Duke in a drop-dead, five-inning contest, 8-0. They followed that win up with a second shutout, beating Burns Flat-Dill City, 3-0.
