WEATHERFORD – The Clinton softball team (9-6 overall, 0-3 in district, as of press time Tuesday) lost its third straight district game to open league play Monday at Weatherford (6-3, 3-0), by a score of 10-0.
The Lady Eagles jumped out to a quick, 4-0 lead in the first inning and that lead just kept growing over the next two frames, finishing with a 7-0 advantage after the first three innings.
