With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Alexa Elizabeth Goeringer, who entered eternal rest on July 11, 2026, in Clearwater, Florida, at the age of 49.
Alexa was born on March 21, 1977, in Hobart, Oklahoma, and spent her childhood growing up in Burns Flat, Oklahoma. As a teenager, she and her father, Arthur Goering-er, moved to Florida, where Alexa would spend the remainder of her life.
Alexa lived with a spirit of adventure which included the unforgettable thrill of skydiving.
One of God’s greatest gifts to Alexa was her best friend, Tory Henry. Through tough chapters of Alexa’s life — including the heartbreaking loss of her father, serious illness, and many of life’s ups and downs — Tory remained faithfully by her side. Their friendship was built on unwavering loyalty and unconditional love.
Alexa shared a special bond with her grandmother, Wanda Goeringer, who was her biggest cheerleader. Wanda’s encouragement, love, and steadfast belief in Alexa stayed with her throughout her life.
Alexa will be remembered for her resilience, adventurous heart, generous spirit, and the love she shared so freely. She had a wonderful sense of humor, a caring soul, and a way of making lasting friendships. Though she faced many challenges throughout her life, she met them with courage and determination.
