Juanita (Skeeter) Joyce Trout, a lifelong resident of Clinton, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, March 13, 2025, at the age of 67. She was born on February 7, 1958, in Clinton to Moses Starr Jr., and Nellie Jo (Oldcrow) Starr.
Juanita was raised in Clinton and graduated from Oklahoma Bible Academy in Meno, Oklahoma. She was a devoted member of the Koinonia Mennonite Church of Clinton and was deeply connected to her Native culture.
She loved playing hand games with her team the Challengers, attending Native dances, playing bingo, traveling, bowling, and playing pool. In her younger years, she was an outstanding athlete. She also enjoyed taking walks, going to the casino, and nurturing plants and flowers in her home.
