Lola Jean Koch, 91, a longtime resident of Arapaho, Oklahoma, passed away early Friday morning in Clinton. She was born on December 5, 1933, in Zack, Arkansas, to Alonzo and Mary (Green) Spradlin.
Lola was raised in Arkansas and Missouri, where her family moved frequently. She attended school in both states, finishing her education in Missouri. As a student, she was an active member of the 4-H Club and fondly recalled visiting neighbors’ homes to learn the art of canning fruits and vegetables—skills she cherished throughout her life.
A devoted member of Arapaho First Baptist Church, Lola lived a life full of creativity and connection.
