A memorial service will be held for Dr. Ron Helvey, 76, of Mountain Home, Ark., and formerly of Colony, Okla., at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Mountain Home First Baptist Church. He died Wednesday, May 20, 2020, at MD Anderson Medical Center in Houston, Texas, after a short illness.

City requests flowers removed from cemetery

The City of Clinton has requested that flowers placed in the Clinton Cemetery be removed by Wednesday, June 3. The city will resume mowing after that date, so anyone wishing to keep any flowers that may have been placed there for Memorial Day should make sure they are gone by Wednesday.
