John Wesley Smith

John Wesley Smith, 82, of Sayre, Okla., was born on February 2, 1938 in Butler, Oklahoma. He is the son of Ernest Franklin Hallie Ada for (Newcomb) Smith. John went to walk the Heavenly Plains streets of gold with his Lord and Savior on May 28, Ray, 2020, in a Elk City, Oklahoma.

Helen Jones

Graveside services for Helen Jones, 86, Arapaho resident, will be held 10:00 A.M., Friday, June 5, 2020, in the Mound Valley Cemetery in Thomas, OK, officiated by Rev. Dean Brookshier and under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home.

Mary Ann Ivy

Mary Ann Ivy, 68, of Cordell, Oklahoma passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on May 29th, 2020. She was born on August 4th, 1951 to James and Pauline (Burns) Rutherford in Cordell, Oklahoma.

City requests flowers removed from cemetery

The City of Clinton has requested that flowers placed in the Clinton Cemetery be removed by Wednesday, June 3. The city will resume mowing after that date, so anyone wishing to keep any flowers that may have been placed there for Memorial Day should make sure they are gone by Wednesday.

Curtis Rose

Funeral services for Curtis S. Rose, 69, Foss resident, will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday, June 1, 2020, in the First Baptist Church in Foss, OK, officiated by Rev. Charles Wyatt. Burial will conclude in the Butler Cemetery under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home.

Shirley Bourquin

A graveside memorial service will be held for Shirley Bourquin, 82, of Clinton at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Butler Cemetery. She died Wednesday, May 27, 2020, in the Clinton Therapy and Living Center in Clinton.

Wenona Dunn

Wenona (Latimer) Dunn was born November 10, 1920, on a farm southeast of Lexington, Cleveland County, Oklahoma. She was the eldest child of Kirk and Pearl (Rigney) Latimer. She left this world on May 26, 2020, at the age of 99.
