Larry Dudgeon

Funeral services will be held for Lawrance “Larry” Gene Dudgeon, 70, of Lexington at 11 a.m. today at Peace Lutheran Church in Bessie. He died Thursday, June 6, 2019, at his home. Dudgeon was born May 26, 1949, to Raymond Emery and Pauline Florence (Dooley) Dudgeon in Carnegie.

Ameta Davis

Funeral services will be held for Ameta Davis, 83, of Houston, Texas, and formerly of Clinton, at 10 a.m. Thursday in the Kiesau Memorial Chapel. She died Saturday, June 8, 2019, at Sundance Memory Care at Towne Lake in Cypress, Texas.

Al Carter

Allison Joy “Al” Carter, 84, died Thursday, June 6, 2019, at his home in Clinton surrounded by loved ones. Carter was born Nov. 28, 1934, in Custer City to Joy Carter of Ada and the former Louise Frazier of Stafford. He was an only child.

Truman Smith

Funeral services were held Wednesday for Truman Eugene Smith, 89, former Clinton businessman, at Hydro Baptist Church. He died Monday, June 3, 2019, at his home in Hydro. Smith was born July 18, 1929, to Othie and Bettie (Millwee) Smith. He graduated from Hydro High School in 1946.

Susan Hays

Private services will be held for Susan Donley Hays, 65, longtime Clinton resident, arranged by Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. She died Saturday, June 1, 2019, in Norman Hays was born March 5, 1954, to John and Norma (Hatchell-Pratt) Donley in Clinton.

Loreta Kauk

Funeral services were held for Loreta Kauk, 92, Thursday at Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Burns Flat. She died May 24, 2019, at Corn. She and her twin sister, Lorena, were born Sept. 28, 1926, east of Leedey, the daughters of Boyd and Lola (Quattlebaum) Stoddard.

Ruth Higgins

Funeral services for Ruth Higgins, 71, of Hammon, will be held at 1 p.m. Friday in the Hammon Public Schools auditorium. She died Monday, May 27, 2019, in her home at Hammon. Ruth Cecelia Higgins was born Sept. 20, 1947, to George Little Elk and Mary Etta (Hayes) Little Elk in Clinton.

Funeral services for “Bess” Shephard, 87, of Arapaho will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in the Freewill Baptist Church. She died Saturday, May 25, 2019, in the Corn Heritage Village in Weatherford.

Stacy Thomas

Funeral services will be held for Stacy Thomas, 55, of Clinton at 2 p.m. today in the Kiesau Memorial Chapel. He died Thursday, May 23, 2019, at his rural Clinton residence. Stacy Earl Thomas was born June 29, 1964, to Virgil and Laverne (Snider) Thomas in Clinton.

Rural Clinton resident Stacy Earl Thomas, 55, was found dead Thursday afternoon on the front porch of his parents’ house south of the Cherokee Boot Outlet, Sheriff Kenneth Tidwell said Friday. He appeared to have died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, said the sheriff.
