WEATHERFORD – Entering day two of the regional tournament Friday, Clinton’s 12U, midget, kid-pitch team needed two more wins to secure a spot at next week’s state tournament in Sallisaw.
After staving off elimination Thursday night with an 8-3 victory over the Hinton Comets, Clinton ran the table up through the loser’s bracket and clinched a spot at the state tournament.
