Clinton hoops swept in district championship games

To kick off the 2026 Class 4A Playoffs, the Clinton basketball teams headed east Saturday on Interstate 40 to take on a familiar foe in the Weatherford Eagles.
The Lady Reds (220) fell behind early and were unable to recover, as they lost 57-26 against the Lady Eagles.
The Reds (4-20) showed life in the second quarter, but the defending Class 4A champs were too much, as Clinton fell 54-19.
