A summer season filled with winning came to a walkoff conclusion for the Clinton Preps baseball team (16-4 overall), defeating Elk City on the final at-bat, 6-5, Monday night at home.
The Preps were tied with the Elks, 5-5, heading into the bottom of the sixth inning. Clinton Middle School upcoming eighth grader Caber Johnson led the inning off, with a single to the shortstop.
