CLINTON – Class 4A No. 18 Clinton was upset by Douglass 51-35 Friday in the district championship.
Jackson Crumley’s layup 30 seconds into the game gave Clinton a brief 2-0 lead. It would be the last time Clinton would lead in the game.
The Red Tornadoes trailed 12-3 after the first quarter.
Jeremiah Barker’s three-pointer with 2:50 remaining in the first half, cut the Trojan lead to 20-13.
