CORN – A stellar defensive effort allowed the Corn Bible Academy Lady Crusaders to fight their way back into Tuesday’s matchup, but Geary was able to pull away late and upend the hosts 44-39.
Geary managed a 16-7 lead after the first quarter and stretched its lead to 29-16 at halftime.
The Lady Crusaders started to inch closer as they outscored Geary 8-7 in the third quarter.
