This past spring season, cousins and former rivals in the “Custer County Conflict” Gage and Gunnar Gaunt have united to serve as assistant coaches under longtime Clinton head baseball coach, and Gage’s dad, Kelly Gaunt.
Coaching with his family, Gage said, has allowed him to see situations from other angles during the season.
“For me, I have enjoyed the different perspectives on the game of baseball…
