For the first time in 20 years, there will be a new man in charge of the Class 4A heavyweight Wagoner Bulldogs with Kimes Gilbert taking over for departing coach Dale Condict, who was recently hired to coach at Muskogee.
Gilbert moved to Wagoner after leading the Class 2A Chisholm Longhorns for the last three seasons where he went from 1-9 in his debut to 6-5 in each of the last two years.
