To open the 2025 Class A Regional Tournament Thursday at Arapaho, the Arapaho-Butler Lady Indians softball team (29-8) took down the Okarche Lady Warriors 11-3 before a late rally pushed the team past Drummond 3-2 in their second game.
Despite having a long wait time between games, A-B coach Luke Thompson said he was happy to see his girls fight for two wins to start the tournament.
“First of all, it is a long day when you are the host,” he said. “They really do not favor the host by making you play the first and last games of the day.
