In a battle of top-10 teams at the Class-A level, the Arapaho-Butler Lady Indians (20-7) took down the Cheyenne-Reydon Lady Bears 10-0 in four innings Tuesday in Arapaho after exploding for seven in the first inning of the contest.
As he looked back on how his girls played against the Lady Bears, Coach Luke Thompson said he believed his players showed what they were made of following their loss to Canute Monday.
“I thought we played really well today,” he said. “We needed to bounce back after we did not play our best Monday against Canute, who is a really good team, and then we came out today against another good team in our class and played better.
