Despite the regular season success, the Clinton Lady Reds soccer team (11-5) saw its season come to end Monday with a 2-1 loss to the Chickasha Lady Chicks in Chickasha to open the Class 4A State Playoffs.
Even though the outcome was not what he wanted, Coach Eugene Jefferson said it was an even-matched game and he understands that one team had to win.
