The Clinton Lady Reds softball team (4-11) struggled in its home game against Bethany Thursday as it lost 8-2 to push its losing streak to five games.
While he thought there were areas his girls did well Thursday, Coach Michael Deatherage said there was one crucial area that they struggled in.
“Our pitchers threw alright for us today,” he said. “We were able to hit the ball alright, but it is hard to win a softball game when you have 10 strikeouts on offense.
