KINGFISHER – Clinton baseball went 1-1 Thursday at the F&M Bank Classic.
Clinton cruised to a 17-5 win in the first game versus Putnam City West. The Reds fell 6-4 to Piedmont in the nightcap.
“The biggest difference was the level of competition,” Clinton skipper Kelly Gaunt said. “We got off to a slow start in both games. We were able to overcome the slow start in the first game.”
