The Clinton Red Tornadoes went on the road and handled business Friday, beating Newcastle 28-14 in the first week of Class 4A-1 district play.
“I’m going to have to reserve judgment until I watch film,” Clinton coach John Higbee said. “We did have a turnover. We should’ve had a couple more. I’m always looking for things to clean up. We’ll pat them on the back later.”
