CLINTON – Clinton baseball dismantled Pauls Valley in a doubleheader Thursday afternoon.
The Reds cruised 16-0 in the first matchup.
Caden Powell put on a hitting clinic with a 4-for-4 performance. His ninth and 10th home runs propelled Clinton to a game-one trouncing.
Powell’s two-run shot in the first gave the Reds a quick 2-0 cushion.
Clinton tacked on five more runs in the second inning.
