A shot at reaching the state championship is on the line, when the No. 9 Clinton football team (7-3 overall) and semifinals-host No. 5 Blanchard (10-2) meet at 7 p.m. Friday night.
This is Clinton’s 37th semifinals appearance. The Reds are 25-11 in the 36 prior games. They’ve reached the semis three times in the las five years and two times in head football coach John Higbee’s first three seasons.
