SHAWNEE – Southwestern Oklahoma State men’s basketball upset Oklahoma Baptist Bison 68-56 in the opening round of the Great American Conference Championship Thursday afternoon.
The Bison went 4:48 without a basket to start the contest, as Southwestern built a 10-0 lead. A Nigel Wilcox dunk stopped the bleeding, charting the first points for the Bison.
