As the 2021 Clinton boys’ golf season started winding down, senior Hardy Sperle began finding his stride, shooting some of his best scores of the year in the team’s last few tournaments.
Sperle averaged a score of 95 across his seven tourneys this year, but his final few scores saw him average a 91. It started in Clinton’s home tourney. Sperle shot 87 to help the Reds finish third as a team.
