During the first round of Major League Baseball’s annual amateur draft Sunday, two high schoolers from the state of Oklahoma went in the top five selections.
To kick off the draft, the Washington Nationals made shortstop Eli Willits out of Fort Cobb-Broxton the top selection, and the youngest ever at the No. 1 pick, as he is only 17 years old.
