Former Lady Red enjoying throwing in college

With another year in the books, former Clinton thrower Kat Meacham is not slowing down as she prepares to step into an upperclassman role next year.Looking back on the season, Meacham said she enjoyed this campaign as she was able to get to work early and build her skills up.

Clinton grad looking to get into coaching hoops

While some athletes only play a sport for a year, there are some who still work hard to do well in the sport.Recent Clinton graduate Titan Malone was in that category this year, as he came out to play for the Clinton Reds soccer team for his senior campaign.

Hernandez brothers repeat as Classic winners

Every year for the last five years the Clinton, Classic Run has been held downtown Clinton, the first Saturday of June.Despite the inclement weather, the race went off without a hitch Saturday as 186 entrants participated in the run consisting of a fun run, 5K and 10K race.

Clinton grad looks to do welding for career choice

Even though he did not have four years of experience on the soccer field like some of his other teammates, recent Clinton grad Kyron Forrest still enjoyed his time with the Reds.For Forrest, he said this was the first season he played soccer since he was a little kid.

New OC gets good look at offense during spring ball

Going into next year, the offense for the Clinton Red Tornado football team will have a new leader, as former Texhoma head coach Garrett Harland is coming in to be the offensive coordinator and will be running a spread offense.

High school athletes participate in all-star events

At the end of each school year, high-performing athletes are selected to participate in all-star games.This year, six area graduates were selected to perform in the K101 Bowl in Woodward at the end of last week for their respective sports.
