Lady Indians softball wins on Senior Night

In front of their own fans Tuesday, the Arapaho-Butler Lady Indians (27-5) had a day of celebration as they took down Hammon 10-0 in four innings, held Senior Night and received their Class 3A Slow Pitch Softball State Championship rings.

Clinton softball shut out by Kingfisher at home

On the day to celebrate the seniors and what they have meant to the program over the years, the Clinton Lady Reds softball team (5-15) fell 7-0 to Kingfisher Monday at home.For Coach Cooper Rhoads, he said despite the outcome, he was pleased with his athletes’ effort against the Lady Yellowjackets.

For week three of the 2026 high school football season, Clinton’s Mike Blackburn has won the Clinton Daily News’ Pigskin Picks Contest after claiming the tie breaker.Blackburn was tied with seven others for the top spot, but he was the closest to the Red Tornadoes’ rushing total against Durant.
