Friday evening in Arapaho, the 8thranked Arapaho-Butler Indians defeated the 5th-ranked Okarche Warriors 7-1 to improve their impressive record to 18-2 this season on what could have been called, Jaxson Baker night, aka Senior Night, as Baker represents the senior class on this young ball club.

The Clinton Lady Reds varsity golf team took first place in its annual tournament with a score of 339, 31 strokes over archrival Weatherford in second place Thursday at Riverside Golf Course.The JV team for Clinton came in third place in the competition with a scorecard of 375.

Clinton High soccer splits ‘Conflict’ with Weatherford

In a battle of archrivals, Clinton High School soccer welcomed Weatherford Thursday to the Tornado Bowl for the 2024 version of the “Custer County Conflict” The Reds (10-3, 5-0) took control of the district, as they gave the Eagles their first loss of the season with a 3-0 win.

CHS tennis working to improve on season

OU football moves season opener up one day

University of Oklahoma Vice President and Director of Athletics Joe Castiglione announced Tuesday that OU’s 2024 seasonopening football game against Temple in Norman will now be played Friday, Aug. 30, one day earlier than originally scheduled. Kickoff for the contest will be at 6 p.m.
