Arapaho-Butler dispatches Hammon in five innings

The Arapaho-Butler High School baseball team improved its record to 10-5 with a five-inning run-rule win over Hammon Tuesday at home. The Indians won 14-6 behind the pitching of Blake Hunter and hitting of Rylan Moore and Decker Davis.

Clinton freshmen and high school track competitors entered a meet Friday at Elgin and came away with decent times in the process.Freshman Atticus Thompson competed in the regular high school events rather than the ones geared just toward freshmen. He made people take notice of his talent.

Only six strokes separated the runnerup Lady Reds golf team and the hosting Elkettes for the tourney championship Monday at Elk City.Clinton took second with a 365 team total.Addyson Littke led the way with an 86 to individually tie for second place.
