District play clearly went Clinton’s way when the Reds hosted Anadarko for a baseball double header at the CHS Ballpark.The Reds put up a cumulative 35 runs by sweeping the Warriors in a pair of five-inning run rules, 19-4 and 16-0.“To start off district play, we did well,” said Coach Kelly Gaunt.

This weekend the Clinton High School track team went in different directions with the throwers crashing the party at Bethany and the other athletes competing in Thomas.Facing off against a lot of Class 5A competition, the CHS throwers kept with their winning ways.

Most phases of the game proved to be out of synch for the Clinton High School baseball team Thursday on the first day of competition in the I-40 Classic.The Reds (5-5) suffered an 8-3 defeat to the Owls in a contest where Clinton committed four errors and issued eight walks.

Reds sweep Woodward in wild pair

The Clinton High School baseball team swept Woodward in a two-game series earlier this week in a pair of games that could not be more different.Monday the Reds (5-4) played host to the Boomers and broke open a 13-13 tie in the bottom of the seventh inning to prevail in a 14-13 victory.

Lady Reds golfers finish fourth at Weatherford

At the end of the day, the Clinton High School girls’ golf team had to accept finishing fourth Wednesday in the Weatherford Tournament but also had to be elated considering the type of competition it faced.The Lady Reds shot 360 as a team to finish fourth.
