Lady Indians battle tough in final contest

The Arapaho-Butler Lady Indians came up just a sliver short against the Vanoss Lady Wolves in the area consolation finals Saturday at Shawnee. The Lady Indians’ season ended in a 46-38 defeat.“We left our heart out on the floor,” Coach Christy Edelen said after the game.

Basketball season came to an end for the Clinton Lady Reds and Red Tornadoes Thursday afternoon during day one of the Class 4A Regional Tournament in Weatherford.

The Arapaho-Butler Lady Indians extended their basketball season Thursday night by beating the Strother Lady Yellow Jackets, 48-36, in the consolation side of the bracket in the area tournament at Shawnee.

Mock Trial: No Objections!

The Clinton High School Mock Trial Team competed in two rounds of competition this year including Qualifying and Quarterfinals.Although they did not advance to the Semi-Final Round, the students have learned more about the law including how to properly use an insanity defense in a criminal trial.
