Both the Arapaho-Butler girls’ and boys’ basketball teams fought valiantly in the finals of the Western Equipment Classic Saturday night in Arapaho.The Class B No.8 Lady Indians fell to Class 2A No. 3 Amber-Pocasset, 40-30, in a game that was a lot closer than the final score would suggest.

Thursday the Arapaho-Butler High School hoops teams tipped off action at home in the Western Equipment Classic.The Lady Indians cruised to a 49-27 victory over Snyder and the Indians pulled off a 50-42 win over Lookeba-Sickles in the first round.
