SWOSU falls at East Central

WEATHERFORD – Southwestern Oklahoma State football was unable to earn its first win of the 2021 season after a 44-34 setback Saturday.Early in the first quarter, SWOSU quarterback Tanner Griffin hooked up with Jacob Karsak for the Bulldogs’ first touchdown.ECU took a 24-7 lead in the second quarter.

Season recap: Arapaho-Butler Lady Indians

Arapaho-Butler (30-9) qualified for the state tournament for the first time since 2006. The Lady Indians advanced to the Class A state semifinals with a thrilling 2-1 upset of No. 2 Binger-Oney before falling 2-1 to eventual state champion Caddo.
