WOODWARD – The first win of 2021 is in the books.After a lightning delay which rescheduled the game to a 1 p.m. start Saturday, Clinton forced six turnovers en route to a 41-14 dismantling of Woodward.

CMS football stumbles in opener

CLINTON – The Clinton Middle School football teams opened their season against Cache Thursday evening. The seventh graders started things off with a 14-0 setback. The eighth grade fell just short losing 26-14.Clinton’s first touchdown came with 4:22 reamining in the first half.

SWOSU falls to Henderston State in season opener

WEATHERFORD – The Southwestern Oklahoma State Universtiy football team made their return to the gridiron Thursday night as they hosted Henderson State in the SWOSU Kickoff Classic.The result went the way of the Reddies as HSU claimed a 31-13 victory at Flex-Chem Field.
