ARDMORE – A regional title is special in its own right for a freshman, but it wasn’t enough for Clinton thrower Kat Meacham. The first year varsity competitor threw 133-feet, one-inch on her final, discus throw of the day to claim the Class 5A state title Saturday.

The Clinton football team returns to practice Monday for the first time since the 2020 Class 4A state title game, as spring football commences. Spring practices will run Monday through Friday next week, with padded practices Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Practices will start around 3:30 p.m.

The Clinton Red Tornadoes (18-0 overall) are your Class 4A boys’ soccer state champions for the first time in school history, defeating Woodward 3-1. Clinton's win gives the overall soccer program its third state title in four seasons and also gives CHS its 31st total state title across all sports.
