Clinton cross country ends season at regionals

Year one of the Ashley-Griffith era has come to an end for the Clinton cross country team, as the team was unable to qualify any runners at the Class 4A Regional Meet Saturday in Waurika.

Senior fitting in during lone year with football team

Despite coming to Clinton this summer, senior two-way football player DJ Lister is making the most of his senior season up to this point.For Lister, he said being a part of this team for his final year of high school is everything to him.“It means a lot to me to be a part of this team,” he said.

Blackburn wins football picks contest

The Clinton Red Tornado football team (4-3, 4-0) continued its district winning streak Thursday night in Woodward, as the team took down the Boomers (2-5, 1-3) 14-3 in a slugfest.For Clinton’s acting coach Gene Ray, he said even though they got the win, it wasn’t how he wanted it to happen.

Senior Clinton lineman looks to give back after college

Taking in his last few weeks of high school football, Clinton senior lineman Isaiah Dustman sees a path for his future that leads right back to Clinton.For Dustman, he said since he joined the team during high school, it has become another family to him.
