CHICKASHA – It appeared the No. 9 Arapaho-Butler boys’ basketball team (25-3 overall) was going to have to regroup and try for its state ticket the following night, trailing the No. 1 Cyril Pirates (24-4), 37-30, with just over a minute to play in the area title game Friday night.

CHICKASHA – A magical, 2019-2020 season pushed at least into Friday of the area tournament for the No. 17 Arapaho-Butler girls’ basketball team (19-9 overall). The Lady Indians started fast and finished strong in a dominant, 51-31 win over Binger-Oney (16-13) Thursday afternoon at Chickasha.
