After an extensive search for a new leader of the Clinton High School football team, Trevor Powers has been tabbed to become the program’s 20th head coach, pending approval at Monday’s school board meeting.
Powers comes to Clinton after one year at Class 5A Liberal High School in Liberal, Kan., where he led the team to a 7-3 record last year.
