A farm near Arapaho has survived in the same family for 100 years and recently received the Centennial Farm Award as recognition.The farm that received this award is the Miller/ Matz Farm owned by Debbie (Miller) Matz and her husband Perry Matz.

Filing for City posts begins Monday

Filing for the upcoming municipal election for the City of Clinton will be conducted from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Wednesday at the Custer County Election Board Office in Clinton. The race will be for seats representing Wards 2 and 4 as well as the position of mayor.

Man allegedly attacks woman with lawn chair

An outstanding warrant has been issued for the arrest of a local man after he allegedly attacked his ex-girlfriend in an alleyway with a lawn chair.According to the affidavit of probable cause reported by Ofc. Braeden Blanchard, Clinton Police officers were dispatched at 1:46 a.m.

The Clinton Board of Education held a special meeting last week to talk about the district’s $2,765,000 general obligation building bonds for the 2026 tax year.The original bond in question was voted on and issued in 2022 for the amount of $50,850,000.
