Settlement reached with 3rd Avenue

The Clinton Hospital Authority and 3rd Avenue West have agreed to reach a settlement in a civil lawsuit in regard to breach of contract and other claims. As of press time, the Clinton Daily News has not been able to reach the authority or Attorney Richard Mullins for comment as to the details.

Cordell man involved in wreck

A Cordell man was involved in a fatality two-vehicle accident Friday morning in Garvin County near Fort Arbuckle.According to a report from Troop F of the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the accident happened at approximately 7:42 a.m. Friday at the intersection of State Highway 7 and Indian Meridian Road.
