Once a month, Junior Service League meets to discuss current community happenings, services that could potentially be in need of assistance, and – especially around this time of year – its primary annual fundraiser, Spaghetti Day.“That’ll be Oct.

Foss prepares for spooky weekend

Foss State Park’s Halloween in the Park event will occur this weekend on Friday and Saturday. Festivities include a Haunted Egg Hunt, trick or treating, and a Haunted Trail.“It’s going to be a lot of fun. We have a blast with it,” said event organizer and park manager Monica Waggoner.

Medicare enrollment period open

Medicare’s annual open enrollment period is now underway and runs through Dec. 7, 2025, giving Oklahomans on Medicare the opportunity to review, compare, and change their health or prescription drug plans for the 2026 coverage year.
