Suspect facing drug charges

Adrian J. Vela, 50, of Clinton, was arrested May 5 on one charge of trafficking illegal drugs following an investigation conducted by Officer Brian Baker with the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs Control.

Suspect kills two women in church after shooting state trooper

(AP) – Two women died Sunday at a church in Lexington, Kentucky, in a shooting rampage that began when a state trooper was wounded after making a traffic stop, police said. The suspect in both shootings was also killed.

Nine killed in fire at assisted living facility in Massachusetts

(AP) — A fire tore through an assisted living facility in Massachusetts, killing nine people and trapping residents inside, including some who were hanging out of windows screaming for help, authorities said Monday. At least 30 others were injured in the blaze.
