In this year’s municipal filing session, a race has been established for the position of Mayor and for Ward 4. One candidate filed to represent Ward 2 with no challengers, automatically winning the seat.

Hospital authority requests $250,000 from the city

A special meeting of the Clinton Regional Hospital Authority was held on Thursday, during which Trustees discussed employee health insurance proposals, a request to the Clinton Industrial Authority for $250,000 to cover expenses, and plans for the next audit.

One killed when small business plane crashes on Texas highway
