Wrecks produce two sets of injuries

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol released reports of two recent crashes with direct injuries involved. According to the report filed by Trooper Kendrick Johnson, the first one occurred at approximately 12:56 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of State Highway 54 and 960 Road, north of Weatherford.

VFW post renamed for Clinton native

How often does a community get to honor its heroes? Now a decorated war hero, born in Clinton, will have a lasting legacy for years to come.Clinton’s VFW Post 4465, located at 1705 S.U.S. Highway 183, will be rechristened as MSG Earl Plumlee Post 4465 in a special ceremony at 1 p.m. Tuesday.
