Mayor files to seek re-election on first day

Filings for the upcoming municipal election opened Monday and will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day of the filing period, which will end Wednesday.As of press time on Monday, the only filing received by the Custer County Election Board was by Mayor David Berrong, who filed to retain his seat.
