Israeli soldier is killed in Lebanon weeks after completing training

NEW YORK (AP) — A young man who moved from Connecticut to Israel last year to join the military was killed during a combat operation in southern Lebanon on Saturday just weeks after he completed training.The Israeli military identified the soldier as Sgt. Moshe Yitzchak Hacohen Katz, 22.

Suspect allegedly would not wake up

Joshua Wayne Cook, 34, of Elk City, was recently arrested after being allegedly found slumped over the steering wheel of his vehicle near Neptune 66.Around 6:39 p.m. Feb.23, Clinton Police officers were dispatched to the location in reference to a welfare check when Cook was reported.
