NEWS ALERT-County burn ban in effect

Monday morning the Custer County commissioners enacted a burn ban for the county.Under the terms of the ban signed into effect for the next 14 days, the only exclusions to the burn ban are road construction, welding, and outdoor cooking with certain specifications met.

Custer County Treasurer Janet Roulet wished to issue a reminder about 2025 ad valorem tax payments.County property owners have until Tuesday, March 31 to complete their payments.“We’ve been doing pretty well,” Roulet said of people making their proper payments.
