David Allan Coe, country singer and songwriter, dies at 86

(AP) – David Allan Coe, the country singer-songwriter who wrote the working class anthem “Take This Job and Shove It” and had hits with “You Never Even Called Me By My Name” and “The Ride” among others, has died. He was 86.

Woman’s alleged attack causes collapsed lung

Madelyn Irene Henry, 23, of Clinton, is facing charges after an alleged assault that left another woman in the hospital with a collapsed lung.Detective Randy Dunegan of the Clinton Police Department began investigating the incident around 3:56 p.m.

Auxiliary makes another donation

Recently Clinton Regional Hospital volunteers helped raise money to purchase a treadmill and new set of dumbbells for the Cardiac Rehab department.Debra Mendez, director of volunteers, talked about the opportunity she and the ladies who share their time were able to make happen.
